Safety
- For everyone’s safety, sparklers and personal fireworks are NOT permitted on-site.
- No alcohol is to be brought on site, and no open bottles.
- Please only bring a bag if necessary – bag searches will be made on entry by our security team..
- Please follow the instructions of any marshal, security staff or police officer.
- Please remain behind any safety barriers at all times.
Tickets
- Are only available in advance. It speeds up entry and you’ll get a discount if you book early enough!
- No gate tickets will be available.
Parking
- It is going to be very busy and so for safety reasons there is no parking within Brabyns Park on the evening.
- If you live locally, and are able to walk to Brabyns Park, please do so – you’ll avoid the traffic, save the environment and have more fun.
- If you do have to drive, please use local car parks, there are two situated on Brabyns Brow – a full list of local car parks can be found here.
- You cannot park on surrounding roads. Parking restrictions are in force before and during the bonfire.
Entry & Timings
- The gates open from 18:00, and we recommend arriving as early as possible to allow plenty of time to make your way into the event.
- Queues can build up on the entrance gates, so please have your tickets ready to show the marshalls.
- The lighting of the bonfire starts at 19:00, with the fireworks show starting around 19:30
Clothing / Equipment
- The Bonfire and Fireworks obviouly take place outdoors, in the evening, in November! Please wear warm clothing – especially young children – coats, gloves, scarves etc are recommended.
- Depending on the weather on the day, the park may get muddy, so please wear boots or appropriate footwear.
- A lot of the site is lit, but some areas of the site can be dark, so please bring a torch.
Food & Drink
- There will be food and drink retailers on the site selling a range of food and drink (including Mulled Wine for the first time in 2024).
- These stalls will have their own payment arrangements. We cannot guarantee they will take card payments.
- There is no Cashpoint in the park.
- No alcohol is to be brought on site, and no open bottles.
Young Children
- It is dark and busy, so please keep young children close by.
- If any children do get separated from their family, they will be taken to the First Aid tent (on the main car park) and looked after there.
Toilets
- There will be 3 portaloo toilets available in the Ludworth overflow carpark this year.
Dogs
- Please do not bring a dog. We don’t believe the site is appropriate for dogs – the site is very busy, dark, noisy, and the fireworks are really loud.
